Caroline Pooler has been an artist in Denver for over 30 years, where she attended the Colorado Art Institute. Caroline is the founder of Denver Surrealism Society. She has shown her art work in galleries throughout Denver, and works with Redline Gallery often. Caroline also designs and teaches art classes for youth at the organization Urban Peak. Soft Dogs is a published children’s book Caroline wrote and illustrated. She has been with the Hunger Through My Lens project since the beginning of the project, and has been featured in multiple interviews about the project including the PBS NewsHour, Yes! Magazine and Colorado Public Radio.
